The IRI Life Sciences operates on the principle of collective leadership. Currently, there are six IRI Life Sciences core groups - including the speaker Markus Landthaler - that are closely involved in the day to day running of the IRI Life Sciences. 18 additional PIs are associated members of the IRI Life Sciences, heading groups at the three member institutions (HU-Berlin, Charité and MDC).
